Royal Caribbean is Planning a New Beach Club in Cozumel!

Royal Caribbean is about to level up their game in the private beach club department! The world’s largest cruise line just announced their latest venture: Royal Beach Club Cozumel in Mexico, set to open in 2026. At a scenic location on the west side of the island, Royal Caribbean will be adding to their already announced beach club offerings, with the first set to open in Nassau.

Royal Beach Club Cozumel promises to be the ultimate beach day destination, boasting stunning beaches, scenic views, and pools for every vibe. If this destination is anything like Coco Cay (probably the BEST private island out there) than we know it will be awesome. Guests can enjoy a mix of relaxation and adventure with swim-up bars, dedicated pools, private cabanas, snorkeling, kayaking, and more. Dining options will include a variety of spots like a restaurant, bar, and lounge with stunning views, as well as a street market offering quintessential beach day favorites. Hands-on experiences like tequila tastings and cooking classes will also be available for those looking to immerse themselves in local culture.

Royal Caribbean leadership was on site in Cozumel at the unveiling. “We are thrilled to enhance our partnership with the local community and government, continuing to bring our guests to the beautiful shores of Mexico,” said Jason Liberty. “This expansion reflects the growing global demand for exceptional vacation experiences, allowing our guests to connect with local cultures and communities.”

Michael Bayley added, “The anticipation has been building since we announced Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas, opening in 2025. Now, we’re excited to introduce Royal Beach Club Cozumel. Cozumel is a fantastic destination, and this beach club will offer a unique blend of Royal Caribbean's signature touches with the vibrant spirit of Mexico, featuring amenities and activities for every type of vacationer.”

While the beach club will be exclusive to guests of Royal Caribbean ships, it will not be included in your cruise fare like Coco Cay and Labadee. This will be an optional (and add on) excursion similar to the Royal Beach Club being built on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Stay tuned here to learn more as we get closer to the grand opening (planned for 2026!). As soon as we learn more details about the food, activities, and more - we will share all those details here!
