“…and just like that, I was hooked.”
The first travel memory I have is the blinding pain of having the skin of hand hand seared off from a burning hot gas lantern. I was young, camping in the local state park, and grabbed the lantern with my bare hand. We rushed from our campsite down to the local hospital where they bandaged my hand. I definitely learned my lesson that day about touching hot objects. Needless to say my travel experience got off to a rough start.
Fast forward 20 years and traveling has become my number one passion. I also have a vivid memory of my first pleasant travel experience. It was New Years Eve and my parents took me to the beach. It was the off season and the beach town we stayed in was eerily quiet. Staring out at the empty ocean, and feeling the breeze from the deserted stands gave me such a sense of peace, and just like that, I was hooked. I love to travel, I love to dream about travel, I love to think about travel.
That’s where the idea for See, Seek, Sleep was born. I hope this travel network becomes an incredible resource for wonderers and wanderers to share the passion of travel.
