Airbnb has long been a source of once-in-a-lifetime experiences and accommodations. Occasionally Airbnb will partner with a brand, a TV show, or a charity to offer some truly once in a lifetime experiences on their platform. They will often be extremely limited as well, some offering only one or two special nights. These are truly so limited, you often have to apply to even have a chance at staying at one of these listings. We are truly hoping that they open these awesome stays open to everyone eventually, and we wanted to highlight three once in a lifetime Airbnb opportunities.
Unfortunately, most of these listings are not bookable on Airbnb at this time, but we have hope that they will be open to everyone eventually, since Airbnb is still keeping the listings open. Below each listing we will include helpful information like where the rental is located, how many people can stay there, and of course a link to the Airbnb page in case they are ever opened to the public. There are eleven in total, so keep scrolling if you are looking for something specific. You can currently save these awesome places to your wish lists!
Inside Out HQ

Ever wondered what's happening inside someone's head? Now you can find out! For the first time, guests are invited to spend the night at Team Riley Headquarters. Exciting, right? Yes, you can control Riley's emotions—all of them. But please be gentle with her. Airbnb has recreated the awesome set from Inside Out for a special one night stay as part of their icons program. You will be able to Create your own core memory and be careful with Riley’s. Take the helm of Riley's control center and interact with all her emotions. Nestled deep within the Scottish Highlands - Shrek’s swamp is the cozy, lit by earwax, this is the escape fans of the movies can only dream of. Muddy, moss-covered, and swampy - this is the perfect home base to get away from the hustle and bustle as you explore the area. In the morning, we know you are ready to make waffles!
