A lot has changed since I grew up camping, and now glamping is a very popular way to get out and camp. Camping is a great way to connect with nature, experience wildlife, and truly disconnect from the hustle and bustle of a busy daily life. Are you looking to get all the benefits of camping, without sacrificing your comfort - then maybe it’s time to try glamping.
If you aren’t sure what glamping is, it’s in the name! Glamping is short for glamourous camping - which is camping but, without giving up certain luxuries. This rental has won Vermont’s most wish listed Airbnb and it is easy to see why! This open air cabin is a fantastic place to reconnect with nature or that special someone. The sleeping cabin is cozy and minimalist (10'x10') with screened 'walls' that let in the breeze -- and keep out the bugs. Relax on the covered porch with a morning coffee, sunset wine, or a good book in between. A cozy full-size bed with seasonal linens awaits you. Ideal for couples and solo retreats. No detail was spared as the owners put together this beauty. This Texas hidden jewel is magically tucked away for your exclusive, one of a kind, romantic bucket list retreat! Bring the outdoors inside as you reconnect with your partner and nature. Lounge in the huge bath tub, hot tub, or plush couch as you sip wine and watch the sun set over the tree! Glamping Treehouse on a Vineyard overlooking Monterrey Bay

This place has well over 600 five star reviews, and it is easy to see why. The views from this amazing glamping treehouse are simply breathtaking! Built on giant Douglas Fir trees, this treehouse is located on Lago Lomita Vineyards with a view of the entire Monterey Bay. The Pacific Ocean forms the perfect backdrop from anywhere on property. The ladder/staircase leads to a 400 sq. ft. platform with a queen bed, electricity, and even Wi-Fi! If you need it, there is a full bath on the bottom floor of the main house, near the glamping treehouse. This is the perfect getaway for kids or the kids at heart. This treehouse glamping option is even pet friendly so you can tag along with your furry friends as well! This treehouse glamping tent is located at Airydale Retreat, which has many glamping options. This glamping canvas tent is on a large wooden deck, which provides an abundance of space to enjoy the outdoors. The tent comes furnished with a queen bed, a cot-style bunk bed, plenty of floor space for sleeping bags, basic camping cookware, and a propane camp stove. This glamping cabin has some seriously spectacular views. This cabin is totally off the grid, but once you see the amazing opportunity you have here to relax and reconnect with nature. This cabin is located in one of our favorite parts of North Carolina - it would be the perfect home base to explore Asheville, Biltmore, Hendersonville, Chimney Rock, or Lake Lure. This is a glamping cabin - so there is a wood fired stove, you will need to bring sheets and blankets, and water is dispensed from a tank. The driveway is steep and climbs the mountain so you will need a 4 wheel drive to make it all the way to the top (You can also hike up!). You will love stargazing from the deck! Smoky Mountain Safari Tent

How cool would it be to live out your Smoky Mountain vacation under the stars camping in a luxury safari tent?! We have written before about amazing cabins in the smoky mountains, but this tent is a whole different unique experience! The tent 1 has a king size bed, indoor Russian wood stove, (not for the summer months), and private fire pit area with a privacy fence. Relax and breakaway from everyday stresses in this tranquil, private space. There are other tents on the property, but each are over 100 feet apart. The Nest - Luxury Safari Tent

It is so hard to call this glamping, but it is a tent, so we are letting it in on that technicality! Even though it is a safari tent, this is one of the most beautiful, romantic, and luxurious escapes we have ever featured. Dubbed, The Nest, this fun escape near Lake Hamilton is sure to please. You will enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the private covered veranda, resting comfortably in the teak furniture overlooking the valley. You can relax in the 7 person hot tub that is recessed with a large ledge perfect for cocktails and food. There is also an outdoor shower with hot water that is nestled between the towering pine trees popping up thru the deck. Inside you will be transported to another world of soft sweeping ceilings of the African Tent. Relax in the king sized pillow top bed or the giant soaking tub! Luxury Waterfront Tent with Hot Tub and Outdoor Bathroom

Wow that view! This would be such a relaxing and romantic getaway! This amazing glamping tent in the Smoky Mountains truly has it ALL! You will be sleeping in a tent, but you will have all the luxuries including’ heat and air conditioning, a grill, a television, and of course a spectacular view of the Smoky Mountains! You even have a bathroom! Can you imagine making smores with a glass of wine on that deck as the sun sets over the mountains?! This tent, called Wild Hare, is a unique getaway to the Smoky Mountains offered by Thunderhead Ridge Getaways - named so because of the breathtaking views of Thunderhead Mountain. This fun and quirky glamping teepee is less than 35 minutes from Downtown Denver, but will have you feeling worlds away on a working ranch. The 20 foot Teepee is pitched next to a live creek that flows through the picturesque property and sits on an elevated wood deck. The interior is beautifully furnished with a queen sized bed, fire pit, coffee maker, small gas grill and electric lanterns for light. This beautiful minimalistic A-Frame glamping tent is so cute. It is the perfect blend of everything you need and cutting away the things you don’t. You will definitely feel at peace here as soon as you step on the property. Inside the tent there is a luxurious queen bed perfect for when you are ready to wind down. Outside the tent there is a nice fire pit area, comfy hammock, picnic table, and beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Less than 2 miles from Helen, this glamping tent is perfectly located for exploring the beauty of the North Georgia mountains. You will be close to the area’s famous wineries, hiking, and waterfalls. When you are ready to get out and eat, there are tons of cute restaurants in Helen or slightly further in Blue Ridge. This glamping yurt not far from Austin is the perfect getaway when you are craving some rustic nature time, but don’t want to be to far away from all the sights and sounds of the city. Even though you are camping technically, you will have a comfy queen and twin bed, and even A/C. The old barn and bathhouse provide communal spaces to cook, hangout, and clean up. We love the log encircled fire pit area - it looks like the perfect place to wind down in the evenings! This glamping tent in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee it so cute. We love how cozy it feels and the outdoor theater is such a unique touch that we have not seen before! Tucked away in the trees, you will be treated to a private safari tent with memory foam mattress, fire pit, games, and electricity to charge your phone. Everything else is off the grid - including the porty potty! It is all worth it though to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature or that special someone.
