We love Wisconsin! We have written before about why we love to travel to Wisconsin and all the interesting things there are to do there - as well as published two lists of some of the most interesting and unique cabins, chalets, and short term vacation rentals we have seen across the badger state. Now we are back with a third list of properties in Wisconsin! We could not keep it just two - there are so many awesome places to check out in this incredible northern mid west state.

The Backwater Cabin

This newly constructed cabin on Pike Lake is so unique, we love it! The home sits on a peaceful, natural habitat and the hosts provide 2 kayaks, a canoe, and 2 paddle boards for guests to use. A beautiful lake view can be seen from the main bedroom as well as the upstairs open loft. There is a lower-level recreation room that has a massive collection of vintage and current board games/puzzles. Waterfront Cottage with Tower

This charming cottage is the perfect escape to either the hustle and bustle of Green Bay - or the peaceful and iconic Door County. This cozy cottage is right on the water and has a yard and beach where you can watch your doggies or your kids play. Our favorite feature of this rental has to be the unique watchtower you can climb in and view the water from. So cool! This cabin is great for relaxing, but there is so much to do in the area, including the Packers Hall of Fame and Museum, the Bay Beach Amusement park, the Green Bay botanical garden, and the Zoo and Adventure park! This beautiful renovated A Frame cabin is just a few minute walk away from the scenic Lake Superior shore. Legend has it this home has even hosted Al Capone, John Dillinger and his gang in the late 1920’s and early 1930’s.
