The A-Frame cabin has quickly become one of our favorite places to Sleep in while on vacation. There’s just something about a cozy A-Frame cabin in the woods. We just love the simple nature of A-Frame construction, and how an A-Frame cabin helps you disconnect in nature. The shape of the A-Frame immediately makes us think of mountain peaks, or tall trees in the forest. They are so relaxing! The first A-Frame cabins were often built in snowy climates, since their sloping roofs would allow the snow to slide off, and wouldn’t need to support its weight. Now however, you can find adorable A-Frame cabins all over the world as short term vacation rentals.

This is one of the most cozy and photogenic A-Frame cabins we have ever seen! The over 80 perfect 5 star reviews definitely speak for themselves! Whether you're looking for a home base for a biking or hiking adventure, or a peaceful getaway, The Kingdom A-Frame is truly a heaven the owners want to share with guests. They have meticulously decorated each room to make the space unique and comfortable. Built in 1968, this A-Frame will have you minutes away from the Kingdom Trails, Burke Mountain, Lake Willoughby, and across the street from the VAST trail. An Escape to the Woods

This adorable A Frame cabin dubbed “Lilla Norr”, (which is Little North" in Swedish”, is a 1978 a-frame cabin located on 5 acres of woods along the Snake River. This property is yours to explore! This cabin has been completely restored by the owners of Arlee Park, and it is an extension of their vintage shop in Minneapolis. The A-Frame was rehabilitated and shares era specific pieces in the space with a focus on sustainability. The owners are very passionate about sharing their space with guests! This cabin is meant for adults, and is around 30 minutes to most activities, but it was designed in mind to truly relax and enjoy the cabin and property. The owners of this rental have renovated this A-Frame with the goal of keeping its original feel while while making necessary updates. New flooring and furniture throughout help create the relaxing environment you crave when escaping to the mountains. New quartz countertops and an open concept kitchen will definitely delight any chefs you bring along. The Dune House

Normally when we think of an A-Frame cabin, we picture a cozy chalet nestled in the mountains. But at the Dune House, it is the opposite. You are right on the sands of Vilano Beach! While this house is small in size, the views from inside and out are expansive and gorgeous! The ground level of the home features an open kitchen, dining, and living area, all showered with light coming in from the east. The kitchen is fully furnished and looks out over the living room. While the inside is nice, you would definitely find us on the deck overlooking the water! The Dune House is part of a complex called the Captain’s Fleet with it’s own private beach access. The location is great, you are in the smaller beach town of Vilano Beach, but close to St. Augustine, and you can even make day trips to Daytona, Jacksonville, or Orlando! Dunlap Hollow A-Frame
