The barn is located on a 20 acre flower farm and not far from the center of Palmer. This would be a great homebase for exploring the areas of Alaska just north of Anchorage. This barn was originally part of the Candler Family estate, the family who made Coca-Cola a Georgia institution. As soon as you walk through the swinging barn doors you will fall in love. Gather in the great room and hang out with your family or play games around the ornate dining room table. When you are ready to wind down for the night, you will truly have a hard time figuring out which bed looks the most comfy. This is a great home base for exploring the North Georgia mountains, or hosting out of town family in town for a Clemson football game. This 40 acre Alpaca and Chicken farm dates back to the 1920s. This barn has been turned into a charming vacation destination where rustic farmhouse charm meets cozy luxury. This farm is a truly unique experience, you are even welcome to walk around and visit with the animals. We absolutely love how some of the original stone and timber work remains in the barn. One of our favorite features is the soaring great room, perfect for getting together with family after your day of exploring and playing. Our favorite part has to be the incredible deck you can view the Rocky Mountains from. It looks so comfy! While you’re a guest, you can enjoy a cup of coffee while walking through the flower fields, sitting by the deck overlooking the all-natural swimming pool or listening to the sound of the waterfall.
