The Smoky Mountains area is truly one of the most spectacular landscapes in the United States. Anchored by the wonderful National Park and straddling the state line between North Carolina and Tennessee, the Great Smoky mountains features tourist havens like Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and even small countryside towns like Bryson City. There is world class hiking and amazing views from soaring heights like Clingman’s dome. One of our favorite pastimes is a nice scenic drive, and the Great Smoky Mountains is home to the Tail of the Dragon and the legendary Cade’s Cove!
Considering that the Smoky Mountains have so much to offer, it is no wonder why they are so popular! The Smoky Mountains might be the cabin capital of the world! There are so many nice cabins for couples and beautiful cabins loaded with fun for families of all ages! When you think of cabins, often what comes to mind is a rustic wood shelter in the woods, but these days, cabins can be luxury mega mansions with stunning views, hot tubs, game rooms, and private theaters! We love staying in unique stays when we travel, but who doesn’t want to treat themselves and splurge on a little bit of luxury every now and then? Below we have put together a list of some of the most amazing luxury cabins we have seen in the Smoky Mountains! Outside has plenty of fun too - there is an outdoor dining area, an incredible fire pit, and of course a hot tub for soaking away your evenings. Teenagers will love staying in the treehouse while adults will enjoy their own getaway in the main house. This cabin, called Above it All, has breathtaking views from every corner! You are so close to Gatlinburg, you have amazing views of the strip and the downtown area right from the cabin! While you are close, it would honestly be so hard to leave this place. There is an amazing deck, a hot tub, an awesome game room, plenty of comfy bedrooms with great views, and plenty of room in the great room and kitchen for everyone. We love the fire pit and al fresco dining on the porch! This would be an amazing cabin rental for a family or group of friends! Smoky Mountain Barndominium
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. 6 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 18.
This barn has been converted into an amazing and unique Smoky Mountain vacation destination. Located just ten minutes from the Pigeon Forge parkway, you will be close to all the attractions the area has to offer. The barn has 6 bedrooms, including a master and a kids bunk room with three twin bunk beds (with slides) - so there will be plenty of space to sleep a large group. The barn has soaring ceilings though, so you will never have to worry about feeling on top of each other. There is plenty of flat yard space for games and activities, and the back deck also holds a hot tub, plus there is a beautiful outdoor fire pit area which is perfect for evenings around the campfire. Misty Mountain Adventure Lodge

You and your group will enjoy gathering in the great room and enjoying 180 degree views of the mountains. This might be our favorite cabin on this list of luxury smoky mountain cabins. The floor to ceiling windows and the luxury deck are simply amazing! Everything you need is here, from outdoor fireplace, hot tub, patio furniture, and grills and plenty of indoor space for entertaining. Perched atop the Great Smoky Mountains, this modern, mountaintop chalet has breathtaking panoramic views of the Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg and one of the best views of Mt. Leconte in the area.
